Tostones stuffed with chicken and avocado
Ingredients
- 12 frozen tostones
- 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place the tostones on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the avocado, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
- Once the tostones are ready, place some shredded chicken on each one and top with a tablespoon of the avocado mixture. Serve immediately.
