Tostones stuffed with chicken and avocado

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen tostones
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the tostones on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the avocado, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
  4. Once the tostones are ready, place some shredded chicken on each one and top with a tablespoon of the avocado mixture. Serve immediately.
